AkzoNobel Appoints Business Director for Protective Coatings in North America

Protective coatings, linings, and fire protection products provider AkzoNobel (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) has appointed Steven Feldman as business director for its North American protective coatings unit.  

In this role, Feldman will be responsible for developing strategic sales and growth initiatives related to the company’s International, Devoe High Performance Coatings, Ceilcote, Polibrid, and Enviroline brands. These linings products currently serve the oil and gas, power, industrial, mining, and water and wastewater market segments throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Feldman is a coatings industry veteran of more than 35 years, and he is a NACE International-certified Coating Inspector, Level 3. He has held a number of senior management positions throughout his career, most recently as director of sales in the United States and Canada for the protective and marine coatings business of PPG Industries (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania).

For the new role, Feldman will relocate from the state of Georgia to Houston, Texas.
