Coating consulting firm Chicago Corrosion Group (CCG) (Skokie, Illinois) has named Peter Bock as a senior corrosion control specialist within the group.
Bock has been involved in the coatings industry for nearly four decades, according to the group, which partners with asset owners to develop vendor-neutral solutions for corrosion mitigation.
Certified by NACE International as a Level 3 Coating Inspector (CIP), Bock is a corrosion under insulation (CUI) specialist and has served as area chairman for the
NACE Central Area section.
While Bock has broad experience in all aspects of corrosion and protective coatings, CCG officials say he is an especially valuable resource on issues related to CUI—including the use of thermal spray metallics under insulation and elsewhere.
“I’m pleased to announce my affiliation with Chicago Corrosion Group, the only vendor-neutral corrosion mitigation firm in the country,” Bock says.
“I look forward to working with the highly competent, pleasant, professional, and growing CCG team in providing optimal corrosion mitigation solutions to existing and new clients and friends,” he adds.
