Representative sampling and analysis technologies company Sentry Equipment (Oconomowoc, Wisconsin) has acquired gas and liquid sampling and services provider Cobra Sampling, Inc. (Houston, Texas).
The deal establishes a center of excellence, according to the companies, from which process sampling expertise can serve refining, petrochemical, and chemical customers globally.
“By creating a center of excellence in Houston, this investment represents our commitment to better serve process plants who want safe and quality sampling choices backed by reliable service for maximum uptime,” says Brian Baker, CEO of Sentry Equipment.
Baker adds that the deal will allow his company to better meet customer demand with a wider portfolio of closed-loop, low-emission samplers and process application expertise.
In addition, the location of a responsive service center on the U.S. Gulf Coast enables the company to serve numerous process industries and manufacturers in the region, which require technologies to optimize plant efficiency, deliver consistent results, and mitigate costly and dangerous business risks.
