Ultrasonic pipeline inspection and data analysis services supplier NDT Global (Dublin, Ireland) recently announced the appointments of Aogan O'hAolain to the position of chief financial officer and Diarmuid Leahy to the new role of chief people officer.

O’hAolain joins the company with more than 20 years of experience, having led finance teams in multiple geographic regions. After working in various senior management capacities across multinational corporations, NDT says he brings an in-depth knowledge of financial operations.

In his role as chief financial officer, O’hAolain will take on responsibility for the worldwide financial and risk management activities of the company.

“I am excited to start with NDT Global and look forward to working closely with the excellent team already in place,” O’hAolain says. “I am extremely fortunate to join such a respected company, one that prides itself on delivering the highest quality service in a safety-critical industry.”

Meanwhile, Leahy is taking over the group’s people operations organization. According to the company, Leahy is an internationally experienced manager, having spent over 25 years working in senior management roles across diverse industries and geographies. Most recently, Leahy was employed by Marathon Oil (Houston, Texas).

Now based in the company’s Dublin office, Leahy joins the organization with a wealth of knowledge in human resources and talent development.

As the company strives to develop and deliver superior solutions, it says it is imperative to implement measures and processes to source, retain, and develop top talent. In keeping with this, Leahy’s role will include the development of organizational structures and strategies to meet and surpass the needs of its business.

“I am thrilled to join NDT Global, an organization built on quality and excellence,” Leahy says. “The experience and enthusiasm of the workforce, along with the growth of the company, made my decision to join an easy one.”

The appointments of O’hAolain and Leahy to the executive leadership team are part of a broader and ongoing recruitment drive to support its continued growth, based on leadership in high-accuracy ultrasonic inspections, according to the company.
