NACE International Seeks Nominations for 2018 Association Awards

The nomination deadline for NACE International’s 2018 Association Awards program is June 30, 2017. The annual program acknowledges leaders who have advanced the association through their dedication to the corrosion control industry.

Recognized around the world, these awards celebrate the achievements of both individuals and organizations within the industry. Award presentations take place at NACE’s annual CORROSION conference and exposition, to be held from April 15-19, 2018, in Phoenix, Arizona.

The program’s 12 categories include the following awards:

R.A. Brannon Award—The signature honor recognizing service that helps promote NACE objectives.
A.B. Campbell Award—Outstanding paper published in MP or CORROSION journal by an author 35 years old or younger.
CORROSION Best Paper Award—Outstanding paper published in the CORROSION journal in the calendar year preceding the nomination deadline.
T.J. Hull Award—Contributions in publications.
Frank Newman Speller Award—Contributions in corrosion engineering.
H.H. Uhlig Award—Contributions in corrosion education.
Willis Rodney Whitney Award—Contributions in corrosion science.
Distinguished Organization Award—Contribution to corrosion science and/or engineering awarded to an organization.
Distinguished Service Award—Outstanding service to NACE.
Technical Achievement Award—Technical contributions in corrosion engineering.
Fellow Honor—Distinguished contributions in corrosion prevention.
R. Baboian Award—Recognizes achievement in the field application of corrosion technology.
