Abstracts are now being accepted for the Research in Progress (RIP) Symposia at NACE International’s CORROSION 2018 Conference & Expo, to be held in Phoenix, Arizona, from April 15-19, 2018.
The research symposia provide a forum for the presentation of information and ideas derived from current or recently completed corrosion research, along with opportunities for discussion.
Session topics include corrosion and the biocompatibility of biomedical alloys and implant devices; coatings and inhibitors; emergent materials; modeling and simulation; and pits, crevices, and cracks.
Abstracts should be no more than 10,000 characters and based on technically accurate and scientifically sound information. Presentations in technical committee meetings are not eligible.
A formal paper is not required, and accepted authors can submit an extended abstract prior to the conference.
The call for RIP abstracts closes on December 4, 2017, while the deadline for optional extended abstracts is February 5, 2018. PowerPoint presentations are due by April 2, 2018.
