Specialty Tubing Supplier Earns Accreditation for Materials Testing

Specialty tubing supplier Plymouth Tube Co. (Warrenville, Illinois) announced that its Hopkinsville mill in Kentucky received Nadcap accreditation for materials testing.

Organized by the Performance Review Institute (PRI) (Warrendale, Pennsylvania), Nadcap is a cooperative effort between technical experts in industry and government to improve quality in the worldwide aerospace and defense industries through the establishment of accreditation requirements and a standardized approach to quality assurance.

By manufacturing in accordance with Nadcap processes, the company can assure its customers that they are purchasing materials produced and tested to high standards.

The audits at the Hopkinsville Mill were performed by PRI, with process controls and testing procedures utilized to insure conformance of specific services. The company says it provides specialty tubing in carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloy with uniform, repeatable mechanical properties that result in improved downstream fabricating processes.
