New Refrigerated Air Supply System for Industrial Workers

Allegro Industries (Piedmont, South Carolina, USA) introduced new cold air systems to offer workers a refrigerated air supply system with cooled breathing air that is both comfortable and safe.

The systems are designed for industrial users requiring a fresh air supply system compliant with U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) (Washington, DC, USA) regulations.

By offering the advantages of air-conditioned air, the cold air system can maximize productivity and minimize the possibility of heat stroke, heat exhaustion, dehydration, nausea, and cramps for workers. It also helps reduce the frequency and duration of breaks on the job.

The unit, powder coated for long-lasting durability, is sealed and maintenance free except for the removable, washable filter. Available in one-worker and two-worker models, the 76 lb (34.5 kg) unit is easy to transport with an extendable handle and two rugged wheels.

The respirators, approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) (Washington, DC, USA), also feature an air flow valve for increased user comfort.
