Nominations Announced for 2017 Corrosion Innovation Awards

The global corrosion control community has submitted a total of 44 nominations for Materials Performance’s (MP) 2017 Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards. The complete list of nominees for the 2017 program can be read here, along with full descriptions.

The program provides a forum for NACE International members and customers to showcase their corrosion mitigation technologies and receive recognition for their innovative solutions.

Winners will be selected by a panel of corrosion-control experts and announced on March 27, 2017, at the CORROSION 2017 Conference & Expo in New Orleans, Louisiana.

To be considered a corrosion innovation, nominated projects must show the potential for a significant positive impact in corrosion control.

Innovations can be related to coatings and linings, materials, design, equipment, testing, monitoring, integrity assessment, cathodic protection, chemical treatment, or anything else that directly relates to corrosion prevention and mitigation.
