The U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) (Washington, DC, USA) has released the “Pocket Guide to Transportation 2018” mobile app as a quick reference guide for transportation statistics.

The 2018 version of the annual guide provides the latest U.S. transportation system information and statistics in mobile app and printed formats. It covers data on several major trends, such as structurally deficient bridges by state.

Other data points include information on moving people and goods, system use and performance, the economy, safety, infrastructure, and the environment.

The app includes all the features of the classic pocket guide along with enhanced navigation, sharable graphics to social media and email, and data updates to highlight the latest statistics.

The app is available in various app stores under the “BTS Pocket Guide” keyword. The printed version can be ordered or viewed as a PDF from the BTS web page.
