Edwards from his position as CEO of the group’s U.S. operating company. The decision was made by Edwards to pursue other opportunities outside of the company, the inspection provider explains.

Edwards joined the company in 2014 as vice president of data analysis before being promoted to the role of CEO in 2015. His last day as an employee was February 1, 2018.

Following the resignation, the group appointed Andreas Haindl—currently CEO of the group’s Middle East operating company—to the role of interim CEO for the U.S. operating company. In that position, Haindl will be based at the company’s office in Houston, Texas, which services customers across the United States.

Prior to this role, Haindl had served as CEO of the group’s Middle East operating company since 2016. In that role, the inspection provider says he was pivotal its ongoing regional success and growing its service delivery capabilities.

Haindl first joined the inspection provider in 2012, when he was immediately responsible for managing key account management functions in Europe. Prior to that position, Haindl worked for 10 years in senior account and program management roles in the telecommunications services industry.

“Haindl brings invaluable experience from working with some of our leading global customers on long-term plans to address integrity management and optimize the performance of inline inspection programs,” says chief operating officer Andy Bain. “He is supported by a strong leadership team in Houston, which has been integral to the success of this region, and I am confident that this will continue.”
