Protective coatings manufacturer Carboline (St. Louis, Missouri, USA) recently announced the launch of its revamped web site. Founded in 1947, the company produces performance coatings, linings, and fireproofing products in more than 20 manufacturing facilities around the world.

The redesigned site offers quick and easy access to essential product information and more clearly conveys the group’s brand, according to company officials. The revamp officially went live on January 25, 2018.

The site features a clean, uncluttered design, improved functionality and enhanced content, providing quicker access to product information. The expanded product search helps visitors find product information faster and share the information easier.

Coupled with the web site is the launch of a new global format for the company’s product data sheets (PDS). The new site and PDS format are results of feedback from customers, analysis of web site traffic, and the desire to continuously provide a better online experience, the manufacturer explains.

Content on the revamped web site automatically reshapes itself to maximize its presentation for any screen, including tablets and smartphones. The new site also allows users to share products and pages that interest them with others across social media outlets and/or email.

“We believe the new web site better reflects our brand and will allow our customers to have a very positive user experience,” says Melissa Bentley, the company’s vice president of marketing. “We will continue to expand the available resources and frequently update content so visitors will receive the latest news and product information.”

The main web address is now the globally facing web site, with carboline.us specific to the United States. Other specific-country web sites were included in the redesign and can be found through the “Local” menu at the top of each page on the site.
