Corrosion control technologies group Cortec Corp. (St. Paul, Minnesota, USA) signed an exclusive agreement with TAINO International (Miami, Florida, USA) to distribute the company’s corrosion-inhibiting additives across Mexico, Central America, and South America.
The products are used across many industries, including paints and coatings.
“Cortec’s additives are a good fit for TAINO’s product line,” says Martin Coughlin, vice president of the distributor. “We are actively working with paint and coatings companies to improve their formulations and solve their problems.”
The additives are used to help eliminate corrosion caused by corrosive fluids, chlorides, and humid environments, according to the manufacturer.
