Downhole Sealing Solutions Group Makes Key Appointments

Metal-to-metal downhole sealing solutions provider BiSN (Houston, Texas, USA) has underlined its global expansion plans with the appointment of two key positions.

“BiSN has grown exponentially since it was first established, and we are delighted to be growing both our staff numbers and client base,” says CEO Paul Carragher. “It is an exciting time for us as we consolidate and focus our growth.”

Tom Box will join the company as vice president, while Gary McWilliam has taken on the role of applications manager for the Eastern Hemisphere.

Specializing in business growth, Box has a proven track record in spearheading business development efforts, the company explains. He brings more brings more than 20 years of expertise to the role, having held a variety of management positions throughout his career.

“Tom’s wealth of experience leading business development will be advantageous for BiSN as he helps lead our next phase of growth,” Carragher says. “The results he has achieved throughout his career so far are impressive, and his industry background and commercial acumen, teamed with his extensive management experience, will be invaluable.”

Meanwhile, McWilliam joins the team from Maersk (Copenhagen, Denmark) and has a wealth of experience in completions and abandonment. His role as applications manager will involve responsibility for client liaison and leadership of the engineering and operations staff.

“Gary’s expertise in downhole completions and well abandonment will be hugely beneficial to us, particularly as it gives him an understanding of both product development and testing out in the field,” Carragher adds.
