NACE International, NACE Carolinas Section Host Corrosion Mitigation Conference

NACE International and the NACE Carolinas Section will present the Eastern Area Conference from Monday, October 1 to Wednesday, October 3. The three-day conference will feature educational presentations and forums on cathodic protection and coatings-related topics, as well as exhibits showcasing corrosion control products and services.

One of the highlights of the conference is the Basic Cathodic Protection Rectifier Training on October 1. This course will be taught by longtime NACE member Don Olson, who will convey his 30-plus years of industry training experience. Topics covered include cathodic protection (CP) fundamentals, general safety practices, design considerations, and other CP rectifier issues. In addition, students will receive hands-on troubleshooting training on rectifier units.
