American Innovations (Austin, Texas, USA) released the latest addition to its Bullhorn line of remote monitors. The Bullhorn RM4211 is a satellite monitor with three high-voltage analog measurement channels that can be used in a variety of cathodic protection (CP) applications, including mid-point test stations, bonds, and solar powered rectifiers.

The RM4211 captures measurement data such as AC and DC voltage measurements, instant-off, shunts, and rectifier volts and amps. In addition, it can take IR-free instant-off readings from a coupon for annual interrupted surveys. All measurement data and readings are securely stored on Bullhorn Web, which generates flexible reports and graphs that enable users to quickly identify problems and ensure maximum CP effectiveness.

Along with its enhanced data measurement capabilities, the RM4211 sports an internal antenna and other streamlined design features. The monitor can be mounted on any 3” riser or rectifier and uses a lithium-ion battery as its power source. With its long-lasting battery and satellite connectivity, the monitor delivers reliable data even in areas without cell phone coverage.
