Cathodic Protection Company Makes Leadership Promotions

Southern Cathodic Protection Co. (SCPC) (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) announced two key promotions within its leadership team at the beginning of 2019.

Todd C. Halligan assumed duties as the engineering manager based in the company’s Atlanta office. Halligan has 8 years of experience at SCPC and is a certified Cathodic Protection Technician by NACE International. He is also a licensed professional engineer.

In his new role, he will supervise the engineering department consisting of staff engineers, technicians, and sub-consultants, along with continued activities in project management and systems design responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Christopher R. McKinley was appointed as the company’s first chief operating officer and is now responsible for general management of the firm’s day to day activities.

McKinley began his career with SCPC in 2002. He is a licensed professional engineer and recently passed NACE International’s Cathodic Protection Specialist course. Most recently, he served as the company’s vice president of engineering.
