Tanknology Appoints Executive for Cathodic Protection, Corrosion Prevention

Tanknology Inc. (Austin, Texas, USA) announced that Jared Beavers has been promoted to vice president of the company’s cathodic protection (CP) and corrosion prevention division.

In this capacity, Beavers will be responsible for the operations of the company’s nationwide CP and corrosion prevention group.

During his time at Tanknology, Beavers has served in multiple positions. These include several management positions, such as Gulf Coast regional manager; senior account manager; cathodic protection operations manager; and cathodic protection division manager.

A 21-year industry veteran, Beavers holds a NACE CP 2 – Cathodic Protection Technician certification and STI/SPFA Cathodic Protection Testers certification, and he regularly participates in NACE International chapter meetings.

The group offers more than 30 compliance-related service offerings and holds 22 patents for leak detection and tank monitoring technology.

Internationally, the company’s licensees span more than 20 countries, where they provide services to many of the world’s largest petroleum operators.
