With the unveiling of a new manufacturing facility in Egypt, this enhanced production capability will soon allow AkzoNobel Powder Coatings to locally produce and deliver bonded metallic powder coatings to customers in North Africa, according to the company.

The increased demand for bonded products is being driven by a huge development in construction and growth in domestic appliance manufacturing in the region. AkzoNobel says its advanced bonding techniques can significantly improve the luster and finish of its premium special effect metallic powder coatings to deliver a uniform metallic finish with even greater color consistency and performance.

“Customers can now order from a range of stunning colors and textures that are always on trend with the confidence that comes with working with a global partner who understands the critical importance of local presence and faster delivery,” says Sanal Limoncuoğlu, the company’s commercial director for South and East Europe.

Limoncuoğlu adds that introducing a new bonding line fulfills a long-held ambition. “Significantly expanding our local production capabilities and the speed with which we can deliver bonded metallic products to our customers in the region, is just one of the ways we’re growing within the market and helping our customers stay out in front,” he says.

“Partnership is at the heart of everything we do. We exist because of and for our customers. We’ve listened to what our customers need, and with new colors, shades, and metallic finishes, we can help them on a journey to a new world of possible.”
