Moore Named Chairman of STI/SPFA Legislative Advocacy Committee

The Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA) (Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA) recently named Randy Moore chairman of its Legislative Advocacy Committee. Moore is currently director of sales – agency department and industry affairs for affiliate member Tnemec Company Inc. (Kansas City, Missouri, USA). 

Moore has more than 37 years of sales and marketing experience in the water industry. He crated and is currently the co-chair of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Innovation Initiative. In addition to his active membership in STI/SPFA, Moore has been an active member of both the National Rural Water Association (NRWA) (Duncan, Oklahoma, USA) and AWWA (Denver, Colorado, USA) since 1981. He has also served as a commissioner on the Missouri Safe Drinking Water Commission (Jefferson City, Missouri, USA). 

Moore has a Bachelor of Science in metallurgical engineering and a Master of Science in engineering management from the University of Missouri-Rolla, along with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. 

STI/SPFA represents its members on important legislative issues affecting the steel fabrication industry. The organization works closely with key departments and members of Congress, advocating for positive legislation for the industry. Moore will lead the Legislative Advocacy Committee in selecting and addressing topics important to STI/SPFA members, as well as grow the association’s advocacy program
