Protective coatings manufacturer Tnemec Company, Inc. (Kansas City, Missouri, USA) recently launched a new web site. Along with being more user-friendly, the site is now easier to view and use on mobile devices, according to Mark Thomas, vice president of marketing.
“Many of our customers are on the road or at jobsites a lot of the time, so the new website will be very useful for them wherever they are,” Thomas says. “Our number one goal for the new website was for customers to have the ability to navigate the website more efficiently and quickly get them the information they need.”
The website also includes more advanced product filtering capabilities, with visitors able to locate a coating product based on chemical exposure, substrate, and/or generic type. Other features include access to hundreds of project profiles; an updated color swatch request tool; and an interactive water tank design tool, Tank3D.
“We want our website to guide the user towards getting a quality coating or lining applied to their structures,” Thomas says. “We think the new Tnemec.com accomplishes this, while also being more visually pleasing and representative of our brand and mission.”
