Receiving an AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) award is the validation of outstanding contributions and achievements in our industry. The awards recognize the best of the best in all categories and spotlight outstanding achievements in academia, research, technical progress, teaching, mentoring, and work in the field.

The program committee for the AMPP Awards has developed a new slate of awards that embodies the rich legacies of NACE International and SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings while establishing new ways to honor AMPP’s outstanding members.

These awards, for which nominations are currently being accepted, are designed to recognize the contributions of individuals and teams who have made significant advances in the materials protection and performance industry.

The official award titles include the Project Awards; Russell Brannon & John Keane Signature Award; Educator Award; Publications Award; Early Career Excellence Award; Joyce Wright Industry Impact Award; Fellow Honor; Willis Whitney Technical Achievement Award; Elaine Bowman Distinguished Service Award; Oladis Troconis de Rincón Field Applied Technology Award; and the Oliver Moghissi Asset Integrity Management Award.

Details on each of these categories, along with their 2023 recipient(s), are available at the AMPP Awards web site. The deadline for submissions is September 1, 2023.
